She is specialized in Cataract (adult & pediatric), Cornea, Ocular surface and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Deepali Singhal (MD ophthalmology [AIIMS, New Delhi], DNB, FICO, MRCSEd, FICO Cornea) has completed her MD and Senior residency in Cornea, Cataract (pediatric and adult), and Refractive surgery from the apex institute of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. She was awarded the Dr. Bodhraj Sabharwal gold medal for being the best postgraduate student in ophthalmology in 2016 at AIIMS. She also got the opportunity to work with world-renowned Prof. I. Pallikaris, who is a pioneer in the field of refractive surgery at VEIC, University of Crete, Greece. She has a keen interest in the field of corneal pathologies like keratoconus, refractive Surgeries that include LASIK and SMILE, Implantable Collamer lens (ICL) for correction of high refractive errors, and Lamellar Corneal trasplantation. She has vast experience in performing pediatric and adult cataract surgeries like phaco-emulsification and Femtosecond assisted cataract surgery along with management of various complicated scenarios like subluxated and traumatic cataracts and others related to her field. She is also well trained in managing ocular surface disorders and performing amniotic membrane transplants (AMG). She has contributed to more than 50 international and national scientific publications and book chapters. She is also a reviewer for some of the journals published in the field of Cornea, Lens, and Refractive Surgery.
