About Deepika Hirani

As a Honours Biology student at the University of Waterloo with a Biotechnology Technician Diploma with Conestoga College, I am committed to advancing my knowledge and contributing to the field of biological and health research. With my hands-on experience from my co-op positions, previous research, and lab experience, I have built a strong academic foundation in the Life Sciences. I have developed numerous skills from my previous positions (University of Waterloo, Canadian Museum of Nature & Brampton Civic Hospital) where I had many responsibilities including: conducting laboratory experiments, data analysis and documentation, patient care, knowledge on safety and precautionary measures, and much more. I am proficient in multiple languages and hold certifications in Emergency First Aid and CPR. I look forward to leveraging my skills and experiences in future roles within the biological sciences field and contribute to meaningful research and conservation efforts.
