About Deepika Kamboj

I’m an educator, researcher, sustainable brand founder, and lifelong learner - committed to the kind of learning that doesn’t stop at degrees or designations. Over the past decade, I’ve taught business, marketing, and operations at the college level, guided postgraduate students, and organized academic and cultural events that bring education to life. My research has explored green marketing, electric mobility, and innovation in small businesses-always with a focus on how purpose and performance can co-exist. But learning, for me, has never been limited to formal classrooms. I founded a small sustainable fashion label, not just as an entrepreneurial experiment, but as a way to translate my values-ethical choices, mindful consumption, and circular thinking-into something tangible. This venture taught me as much about marketing and branding as it did about listening to the earth and the people who make our clothes. Motherhood deepened my curiosity. I shifted from college to school education-intentionally-to better understand how children learn and to create a learning environment tailored to my daughter’s needs. It’s been one of the most humbling and enriching chapters of my life. Along the way, I’ve continued to write, research, and grow-both personally and professionally. Whether I’m tending to my vegetable patch, developing a lesson plan, co-authoring a paper, or drafting a thought piece on sustainability, I do it with the same spirit: to connect ideas with people in meaningful ways. I believe in starting from scratch. In asking new questions. In the slow work of becoming.
