Background
About Deepmallya Nath
A humdrum existence coupled with the in-between breaks of what can best be defined as a “typical holiday” can get to some of us. Breaking free from not only the monotony of “daily,” but, even the way we have traditionally enjoyed our holidays - Thus the idea behind Extreme Motoring Adventures (EMA), started by Deepmallya Nath (Deep). The endeavor is to reach out to those who are open and willing to try the unexplored, redefining the way we experience and connect with nature itself. Deep is an entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience in riding across the Indian subcontinent. He established his touring business nearly three years back. Deep recently expanded his business into launching GEAR UP, Kolkata’s first most comprehensive Motorcycle Adventure apparel, equipment, gear and accessories shop at a prime location in Bhawanipur. Deep is a cruiser bike enthusiast and apart from being a roadie, is also a bike collector. He has a rare collection of motorbikes and amongst a handful in India to own some of the most unique two-wheel machines. Prior to his shift back home, Deep has been the former moderator of one of India’s oldest motorbike clubs in India, RTMC (Rolling Thunder Motorcycle club). An “environment protectionist” at heart, he follows and equally encourages others to respect what remains. He is involved with orphanages and spends time at his family run non-profit organization in Kolkata. A former Bharat Scouts and volunteer with WWF, he has also spent time in the rehabilitation of local tribes (sauntal) in Orissa during the early part of his travels.
