About Deepshikha Chawla

Who am I? An MBA professional with a love for connecting with people from different backgrounds. Ever since I was a kid, I had thirst for knowledge and a desire to research everything what other people do. I could ask never-ending questions and often was complimented as ‘passionately curious. Since then human behavior and creativity intrigued me. How was my Student Life? I completed my Integrated (BBA+MBA)5 years from SRM University. I was lucky to get opportunities to pursue internships in different domains along with a 50% Scholarship for consecutively 4 years. I have grilled myself to work in different companies every summer break. All my internships and different POR’s during the five years of management school helped me become more data-driven, compassionate, quick decision-maker, more socially responsible, along with provided opportunities to enhance my communication and storytelling skills. Then I did the next logical thing, went for Lok Sabha Secretariat, Parliament of India as a research Intern just after completing my MBA although it was not the dream job or the part of my plans as per profession but is one of the biggest achievements for me by getting selected out of students all over India. Here, I adopted the philosophy of doing the best and ultimately got the opportunity to attend weekly sessions with Members of Parliament, working for legislative branches, Table office, and different committees such as PSU’S, Defence Committee, Public accounts committee, Parliament Library, and so on. What am I doing currently? Currently responsible for Market Research- Planning and execution of PAN India outreach, providing support to the business system through operational work within the department. Assisting with the organization of on-campus events such as webinars, open houses, orientation programs, events, campus tours, career days & conferences. planning and implementing outreach activities to position the university to generate applications and develop relationships with schools, colleges, and professional organizations to promote referral to prospective students. Responsible for recruitment and enrolment activities including travel to schools, colleges. Universities, fairs, and conferences. Responsible for research work of Academic affairs, talent community management and managing marketing campaigns
