About Deepti Sood

Currently, I am working as Financial System Analyst on Oracle Cloud Implementation Project. I have acted as finance module expert for multiple clients addressing business needs of different nature, varying from mergers, de-mergers, automation of core financial processes, etc. I had the opportunity to work across multiple financial modules on Oracle Cloud (GL, AP, AR, FA, SLA, Collections, Costing). Before moving to Oracle Cloud, I had worked on many Oracle R12 implementation projects across Oracle Financial application modules (GL, AP, CM, FA, SLA, EbTax, I-Exp, AGIS, AME). As a financial lead, I had implemented the Oracle Payables Solution Design, involving multiple Bank integrations and other interfaces with Treasury and other Financial systems. I have also worked on configuring the SLA engine to cater to the complex accounting changes across multiple modules. I have worked on implementing GL module and its integration with Third Party applications. Consolidation, Intercompany Accounting, Intracompany Accounting, Budgetary Control and Encumbrance Accounting have been the key features worked upon. Aided business with reconciliations through multiple GL based BI Reports and also been influential in helping the team understand the accounting in an Encumbered environment (including both Inventory Items and Expense Items for Commitment, Obligation and Invoice type of encumbrances). I also have gathered experience in handling some of the complex custom modules associated with the General Ledger module (Budgeting and Salary Accounting).
