About Deirdre Callaghan

As the Head of SSFSIL Quality Assurance and Fund Accounting Ireland Shared Services at State Street, I lead a team of professionals who are responsible for ensuring the highest standards of corporate governance and operational excellence for the fund accounting department. I have over 18 years of experience in quality assurance, business controls, and governance in the financial services industry. I am also an ACCA qualified accountant and an alternate outsourcing engagement manager for the Poland fund accounting outsourcing arrangement. I have successfully created and executed testing plans based on risk assessments and error analysis, managed ad-hoc reviews and audits, and reported to the COO and multiple department heads on global and local projects. I am passionate about mentoring, professional development, and employee engagement, and I am an active member of the Professional Women's Network and several other initiatives at State Street.
