Led engagement and strategic communication for a multi-agency, stakeholder-driven effort to secure $40 million in funding across a 5-year horizon to deploy community-based, equity-driven environmental improvement to urban and rural landscapes in King County. • Led organizational re-prioritization of resource allocation using Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion principles, partners, and on-the-ground strategies. • Led strategic communication for first mobile-only election in United States, partnering with national philanthropic and tech organizations for roll-out, doubling previous voter participation year over year. • Launched equity-driven community agriculture program to address needs of immigrant and refugee communities in south King County and other local marginalized populations. • Led the City of Seattle’s roll-out of Growth Management Act deployment in NE Seattle, working with neighborhood associations, community-based organizations, and leading a cross-departmental team to ensure City accountability and resident investment, commitment, and satisfaction. • Led risk communication and partner engagement for multi-state, multi-agency, multi-institution stakeholder-driven research at Hanford Nuclear Site. Results included unprecedented information-sharing by US Department of Energy and the inclusion of Tribal Nation science in research agenda-setting for the first time.
