About Deirdre Ryan

As Director of Quality I am a lead contributor to the enhancement of a quality culture at MIC. My role involves the development and management of quality assurance policies and procedures in the College. My primary responsibility is to direct and oversee institution-level as well as local quality review processes. I also lecture on the online MA in Applied Linguistics for which I have designed and developed the Research Methods module. I have been involved in a number of National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (teachingandlearning.ie) projects aimed at building digital capacity including the ALL ABOARD project which seeks to empower learners and teachers who use technology to support their work (allaboardhe.ie).
