About Deirdre Ryan

I’m a leadership & team development designer and facilitator passionate about helping organizations grow stronger leaders by focusing on what actually works. Over the past 4+ years at ViRTUS, I’ve moved from Program Coordinator to Content Specialist to Program Designer—and now also lead facilitation. That journey has given me a deep understanding of how great leadership development programs get built, delivered, and evaluated. In my current role, I design and facilitate leadership and team development programs that are practical, engaging, and tailored to our client’s unique context. I’ve created multi-level learning journeys from emerging leaders programs all the way up to executive team development, and supported individual leaders' growth through tools like the MHS EQ-i 2.0 assessment. Creating learning experiences that surface real conversations, shift behaviours, and elevate team performance is what lights me up. My approach is grounded in curiosity, humility, and authenticity. I aim to bring a relationship-first mindset to every engagement, always striving to make leadership development feel relevant, human, and worth your time.
