Background
About Deiveek Agarwal
Life has been thrilling for me; from relocating to a new country at 17 to accepting unexpected opportunities, every twist and turn has shaped who I am today. In Kamloops, I found my home away from home and discovered my passion for communication, particularly in public relations. Despite initial hesitations, I've come to adore the art of professional writing and creative problem-solving. Switching my degree was like opening a door to a world of possibilities, leading me to volunteer at our community radio station, CFBX 92.5 FM. My time at CFBX wasn't just about hosting shows and interviewing artists; it was a lesson in adaptability and resilience. Whether it was fixing unexpected hiccups on air or juggling multiple responsibilities, I learned to prosper in chaos. And Photography! Capturing moments isn't just a hobby; it's a way of storytelling. From freelancing for notable clients like BC Cattlemen’s Association and Live Nation Entertainment to volunteering for heartwarming events like the Special Olympics Winter 2023 Games, each click has been a chapter in my life. Also, my time as a staff photographer for The Omega, our local newspaper, has been a vital experience which taught me about being the visual storyteller for our community.Balancing a full-time student workload, part-time job, radio hosting, photography has been a swift, but it has taught me the importance of time management and adaptability. Even when the music player crashed during my show, I turned it into an opportunity to engage my audience with impromptu banter. Studying public relations has honed my skills in effective communication and technical writing, evident in successful marketing campaigns like the one for a local golf course. It's all about understanding the audience, finding creative solutions, and delivering messages that resonate. Let’s connect to share experiences and explore exciting opportunities. Whether it's to discuss the latest industry trends, share stories, or collaborate on a project, I always like to listen.
