About Deje Silas

Senior General Manager providing property management services in multiple SRO buildings, housing the formerly homeless in San Francisco. During my tenure at Delivering Innovation in Supportive Housing I have held positions as Assistant General Manager, and General Manager. With only working six months as a General Manager, I was quickly promoted to Senior General Manager. I have a well-rounded background in building community, establishing a professional presence in the community, collaborating with service partners on housing retention and leading my peers. Additionally, in my previous role I have discovered the true meaning of seeing the bigger picture of things and am able to understand the rapid rehousing goal while also focusing on DISH as an organization. Over the past 4 years, I have learned how to multitask efficiently, manage multiple properties, support my team, pilot new programs in our buildings that potentially promote a safe and healthier environment in the community DISH has built for its residents. My previous roles have strengthened my abilities in customer service and communication, including a focused attention to detail, accuracy, and housing retention.
