2003-2009 Working during summers in between taking courses at the University of Regina and Calgary. Have worked In a wide variety of jobs over summers. Landscaping for two summers doing entire yards from top to bottom. Staples call Center as a Customer service representative. Drove forklift for Day and Ross transport unloading semi trailers of miscellaneous items. Worked for the city of Regina in Parks. Maintenance. 2009-2011 Finished University and delivered medical oxygen and gases for VItalaire. Was city driver in Regina delivering oxygen to home patients and care homes. Also did delivery of hospitals and vet clinics. Would hook patients up to the machine required to the right amount of oxygen needed. Eventually drove all over southern Saskatchewan delivering oxygen and medical gases. During this job I received my forklift licence. 3a learners truck permit. And dangerous goods certificate. Was responsible for the well being of peoples lives. 2011-Present Started at Evraz North America in the steel making industry. Work out of Regina,Sask steel plant. Started as a third helper under the furnace part of the melt shop. Worked in severe heated conditions with temperatures up to 60-80 degrees Celsius. This job consisted of 12 hour shifts. Got forklift license as well as JCB license. Rigging qualified as well. Now work as a EAF assistant under the furnace. This job entitles extreme heat and the ability to think in dangerous situations. Material handler as well as in charge of right chemistry of the steel. Training EAF operator. Training to run electric arc furnace. This is the actual melting practices of steel. Using carbon rods that drive scrap steel into liquid steel the furnace is the most responsibility in the whole plant. 2013-We do all your window covering needs.
