About Del Campbell

I have recently started my own online training programme called Delversity; delivering workshops on Chemsex, Sex Work, Sexual Violence and LGBTQA+ Awareness to a range of organisations. I also work in NHS as a Health Promotion and Training Specialist | Devising specialist training and awareness training for organisations. Dynamic, value driven and compassionate individual who has built up nearly twenty experience delivering and designing training programs for those communities who may seem themselves as being marginalised and misunderstood. Sectors worked in most extensively include LGBTQ+, people living with HIV, sex workers, drug users, migrants and people at risk of homelessness or poor mental health. Skilled relationship builder bridging the gap between these communities and the projects designed to support them, exploring the issues they might encounter and the barriers they may face accessing services. Organisations worked with most recently include the NHS, the National Police Chief Council (NPCC), Probation, Social Services and the Charity sector. In the last few years have supported many charities in designing their policies, developing bespoke training packages, and delivering to a range of participants from management to frontline staff. Especially skilled in client inclusion, ensuring 'experts by experience' are brought to table and are consulted on every level of the journey. Written or contributed towards articles in many publications including The Metro, The New Statesman, The Times. I have also contributed to academic papers including the largest study of online sex workers. Beyond The Gaze. Has written for the theatre - first play which was performed for three weeks at The White Bear Theatre. In 2020 wrote the safe-guarding policies for the award winning trans project CliniQ. Recently been appointed as Chair of the influential campaigning charity and pressure group The Josephine Butler Society.
