About Del Purtee

I started in a small retail store just learning the basics of customer service and product knowledge. I wanted to educate myself in all aspects of the business. I have worked (26) years in the Retail industry, from sales clerk to management, and on the wholesale side, I worked with Ace Hardware for (8) years as a District Manager, calling on (14) Home Centers/LBM,(26) Hardware Stores and (8) Farm Centers. The last (9) years my Wife and I opened and ran a Tanning Salon, Travel Agency, Plumbing & Electrical Supply, Marketing Co, Handyman Service, Screen Repair Businesses, & Dish Retail Outlet, a Mattress/Bedding Company. Through my Past work history I opened over (15) Ground Up Retail Store Locations, Attended over (30) Trade shows, Worked with Retailers on Analyzing Financials, Proforma’s, Business Plans, Budgeting, Advertising & Marketing Strategies, Employee /Owner Training & Team Building, HR and Back Office, Market Studies & Demographics. Ran 5 construction crews working on multiple jobs. I Completed many “Self study certification programs” to better understand financials and sharpen my skills in other areas. I have Computer skills in Quick Books Pro, All Microsoft Office/ Word, Excel, PowerPoint, DOS.
