About Del Stone
I worked for the Northwest Florida Daily News from May 1979 to October 2020. My responsibilities included page design, newswriting, feature story writing, opinion writing, copy editing, section editing, supervising personnel, and lastly, curating the Daily News' website and social media platforms, and training the staff to use web-related technologies. I retired from the Daily News in 2020 to care for my mother. I am currently focused on my fiction and opinion writing, but I also produce the occasional freelance piece. I have been published by many of of the major publishing houses in the United States and abroad, such as Bantam Books, Donald I. Fine, Barnes & Noble, Image Comics, DAW, Pocket Books, Marvel Comics, Dell Publications, Dark Horse Comics, and Rolling Thunder Graphics. I am currently working on new fiction, both long and short form, and uploading my entire inventory of fiction into e-book form on Amazon's Kindle platform.
