About Delaney Wright

Hi, I'm Delaney! Graduate of a Master's of Nursing student at USD. Before pursuing nursing, since 2015 I've worked for years as a nutrition consultant, yoga teacher, and health educator. During this time I helped individuals reach their health goals by educating and guiding them on diet and lifestyle. I developed a passion for working with individuals and teaching groups on topics of wellness, including type-2 diabetes, digestion, and women’s hormone balancing to groups, live and on video. My jobs have also pushed me to my limits, having me see over 20 clients in a day, at 15-minute intervals, while providing effective and thoughtful care. Weekly team meetings gave me the opportunity to collaborate with my fellow teammates and health practitioners. I became accustomed to the high-energy, somewhat demanding environment that lead me to be the dedicated health advocate I am today. My experience has given me a unique perspective of health and healthcare. Now I work full time as an RN here in San Diego! When I am not working or teaching a yoga class, you might find me surfing, cooking a new recipe with the vegetables from my garden, or hanging out with my husband and my dog here in beautiful San Diego.
