I recently graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and a minor in Spanish. I have several years of experience working as an EMT in high pressure patient care settings. I have honed my skills in patient care assessment, IV/medication administration, and charting/documentation. I have strong bedside manner skills when interacting with patients, and I am extremely curious and eager to learn about new emerging medical concepts. I have excelled in previous jobs due to my growth mindset and ability to learn new tasks quickly. Recently, my interests and educational focuses have shifted toward the functional medicine approach, nutrition and gastrointestinal health. I am currently seeking jobs in the field of functional medicine and gastrointestinal health to gain more experience and increase my knowledge before applying to further my education in the medical field.
