Hi, I’m Delbert and I’m a cybersecurity engineer, with over 5+ years of experience managing organizational security. I bring in a unique blend of technical and analytical problem-solving abilities in strengthening the security posture of organizational operations against all risks and threats. As an experienced cybersecurity engineer, I have held a variety of roles that enabled me to develop and implement secure software, as well as design high-level security measures. I’m highly proficient in a wide variety of technologies, including C, Java, Bash scripting and networking protocols such as TCP/IP. Additionally, I have experience with security-related tools such as Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Vulnerability Scanners, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF). With strong problem-solving skills and a knack for understanding complex security systems, I also have demonstrated excellent communication and leadership abilities, which I use to help guide other members of the team. Furthermore, my outstanding communication skills allow me to translate technical concepts into simple language that is understood by the technical team as well as non-technical stakeholders. Over the years, I have acquired experience in both offensive and defensive network and web application security, while ensuring proper security maintenance and reducing attack surfaces. My passion lies in expanding my knowledge base while helping organizations stay safe from cyber threats.
