About Delbert Robertson

As Quality Technician for eight years, I oversee the quality lab. My responsibilities include providing accurate layout data to the Quality Team for use in PPAPs and to assure the quality of daily production parts at the Lear Morristown metal stamping and assembly facility. As part of the Quality Team, I regularly participate in conference calls about quality concerns with Corporate Engineers, Senior Management, and Lear facilities to which we supply parts. I support Toolroom with data, both for production parts and dies, to make changes to dies, and to improve quality. Other responsibilities include: gage calibrations, design, creation, repairs, instructions, and records; working with production operators to maintain and improve the gaging process; training operators in usage of quality instruments; and writing the programs for the CMM and Romer Scanner.
