About Delia A.
As a B.S Biochemistry student at Cal State Northridge, I have had so many enriching experience which have supported me in developing confidence in my skills and reinforced the passion I have towards my studies in biochemistry. I was born in El Salvador and immigrated to California at a young age. This granted me the privilege to developed an incredible interest for the sciences through my elementary education with an awesome science teacher. My middle and high school experience further solidified and kindled a strong passion for chemistry and biology. Now through my college career, I am able to apply myself, gain invaluable experiences, make connections, and fulfill the desire to learn more. Furthermore, as an academic tutor and SI leader at CSUN, I am able to share my fascinations with biochemistry with others as well as encourage others to stay curious and keep learning.
