About Delmaria Richards

As a Researcher, I have learned about the development of natural resources and the environment. My main field of expertise is in GIS, using them in my analysis and data acquisition. Now I wish to pursue my interests and develop a career in Environmental Management and Integrated Solid Waste Resources Engineering. My last year at the University of Tsukuba - University Graduate School of Science, Technology, and Information Sciences was an enriching experience. I developed essential skills in analysis, research methods, management, and leadership among students and professors. While parts of this application outline my qualifications, experience, and future goals, it does not highlight all of my qualities plus, including my ability to solve problems. I am a highly motivated individual who believes that success is achieved through hard work and discipline. These are two of the qualities I intend to use on the job. For me, every occurrence is an opportunity to learn. Therefore, when faced with hardships and challenges, my mantra is to maintain a positive outlook by staying optimistic and engrossing myself in work that improves the surroundings. Communicating with others shows gratitude for life and the willingness to contribute to society’s continued growth. Thus my pride is wrapped up in being among those who strive to make humanity better for all. I work to inspire those around me to believe they CAN and WILL, to do things they never thought they could. Moreover, to be a successful individual who commands respect, it is essential to have integrity, accountability, empathy, resilience, vision, and positivity. I work to be better by putting the aforementioned adjectives into practice as I live.
