About Deloris White

I am currently the Executive Director of Summer's Landing. I love my job and I love my interaction with my Residents. There is nothing like seeing the smiles on their faces and the smiles on the family members faces daily knowing that I do make a difference.I am also a photographer.I found the love of photography when I was about ten years old. I remember when I was very small and we had the cameras that you take to the drug store and send off to get developed I fell in love with taking pictures. I've always said that I wanted to be a photographer and finally when I met my husband ten years ago he told me if that was what was in my heart to go for it and he will stand behind me. I took his advice and have been taking photos every since. I love to create different shots and to make my photography look different. I have a passion for taking pictures it makes me happy. Taking photos is like a breath of fresh air and as I get the results of my work I get even more pleasure out of it. I attended Clayton State University and now I'm attending the Art Institute of Pittsburg and I have learned so much through the classes and on my own because I try so much different stuff. I love it when I teach myself different things through my photographic eyes.
