About Delphine Rey
I am part of a team designing batteries based on local, sustainable carbon material at NanoXplore. My previous research as Associate Scientist at MOLICEL honed my scientific knowledge of polymers. I am proud of my experience as battery cell R&D engineer in Dyson’s Energy Storage team where I introduced a novel separator technology for transfer to production scale. Previously, I was an intern in Tesla’s Cell Manufacturing R&D team in USA, and before, an academic researcher in sustainable nano-technology for super capacitors in Canada. I continue to hone my skills and knowledge in sample preparation, testing, characterisation and analysis in order to optimise batteries’ performance, safety and sustainability. I dedicate my career to mitigating global warming by <1.5˚C by 2050.
