About Delport Botha

I received the Freddy-Neaves Prize for the most innovative final-year project in the field of Digital Image Correlation (DIC) for my final year project!I developed a Python-based speckle pattern optimizer for Digital Image Correlation (DIC) using Finite Element (FE) displacement data to simulate realistic material deformations. The project evaluated warping techniques and pattern variations to enhance DIC accuracy by identifying optimal pattern parameters. This solution improves experimental setups for DIC, ensuring precise deformation measurements. The software and insights will be available on GitHub for future research and applications.Concurrently, at Entelek IT Services, I ensure businesses stay connected through installation and maintenance of Wi-Fi networks. As a co-founder of Bonnieloo, I've honed my skills in property management, from acquisition to tenant relations, driving business growth while prioritizing client satisfaction.
