My journey, however, started far from the confines of a lab or office, setting the stage for a unique blend of skills that I bring to my current career. Before diving into the world of data, I managed West Coast operations as the Regional Sales Coordinator for Crazy Prints, a framed art street vending business. Here, I not only handled sales, inventories, and managed large-scale displays of framed art but also led a team of casual laborers, many of whom were Spanish-speaking, and through this experience, I taught myself Spanish to foster effective communication and a cultural connection. We traveled, lived, and worked together, setting up shop in various cities, turning our transient operation into a cohesive team. This role wasn't just about business; it was about understanding and connecting with people from different backgrounds, tailoring my approach to resonate with each individual I encountered, whether they were property owners, fellow team members, or the thousands of customers I engaged with over the years. Transitioning from these grassroots experiences, I volunteered at the CLARE Foundation in Santa Monica, using my skills to work with and inspire many unfortunate individuals coming off the streets, helping them in their journey towards sobriety. This path led me to Cliffside Malibu, where I worked with high-end clients, many who were millionaires, and even had the opportunity to serve as a sober companion to one of America's top 100 richest individuals, ensuring his well-being outside the treatment center. Through these diverse environments, I've learned that whether rich or homeless, we're fundamentally the same, seeking connection, understanding, and support. Now, as I pivot into my second career, I aim to merge my profound people skills with my analytical expertise. My analytical skills are top-notch, but what sets me apart is my ability to combine this with an innate understanding of people. I can engage anyone in conversation, find what sparks their interest, and tailor my interaction to bring out the best in them. It's a skill I've refined over years of diverse experiences, from the bustling streets to high-end treatment facilities, and it's this blend that I bring to every professional endeavor.
