About Delyth Humphreys

I work as a Community Fire Safety Officer within the prevention department at Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS). I am based in Shrewsbury but cover the whole of Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin. I am a part of the safety in the home team and carry out home fire safety visits, work with partners to carry out joint visits to vulnerable people. I also co-ordinate the I learn scheme, this scheme is aimed at young people under 16years that have set a fire or have a fascination with fire. During I learn visits, we raise awareness of the dangers of fire and look at consequences of that behaviour. I have joined LinkedIn to engage with people that may need advice about fire safety in a person's home and also Children or young people setting fires. Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) are committed to putting Shropshire's safety first. SFRS operates from 23 strategically located sites across Shropshire. The Service has 4 whole-time stations located in Wellington, Shrewsbury, Telford and Tweedale. On-call firefighters operate from 22 stations. The Service headquarters is in Shrewsbury and the Service training centre is in Telford.
