As a qualified Paediatric Intensive Care Nurse with experience at one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals, I’ve built my career on compassion, clinical precision, and the belief that excellent nursing goes beyond technical skill, it’s about connection, advocacy, and making a genuine difference to patients and their families. I’ve been proud to represent the profession through conference speaking, educational mentoring, and, most recently, as a published author. My book, This Wasn’t in the Textbooks, offers a candid, humorous, and heartfelt look into life as a student nurse, and was written to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals. With a strong foundation in paediatric oncology, critical care, and neuroblastoma education, I’m passionate about using my voice and platform to improve care, support colleagues, and continue growing both clinically and creatively. I’m always open to new opportunities—whether they involve writing, teaching, healthcare innovation, or collaborations that champion the nursing profession.
