About Dempsey Brown

I am a quick learner, interested in expanding my knoweldge of different fields as seen by my previous work experience. I have completed a Master's degree in Sports management at Ulster University and have 3 years experience in supervising a large workforce to provide a service to the local community. I am currently a Community Sport Officer with GLL, overseeing the growth and development of sports including gymnastics, tennis, and climbing. I want to increase participation in all sport through weekly lessons, holiday programmes and school engagement. After I recently completed my level 1 and 2 diving coaching qualifications, I have started up weekly Tom Daley Diving Academy lessons in Lisnasharragh Leisure centre as lead coach. This has involved creating weekly session plans, ensuring sufficient coach coverage and communicating with parents regarding the divers progress. While currently completing my Coach Developer course through Sport Ireland, Swim Ireland.
