15+ years of experience providing individualized nutrition care addressing multiple health issues in community, acute and tertiary care hospitals. Strong leadership and management skills as demonstrated by establishing and managing nutrition & dietetic departments in hospitals, while catering to different medical specialties. Successfully completed Internationally Educated Dietitians' Pre-registration Program (IDPP) from Ryerson University with practicum experiences in clinical, public health and management settings. Registered with College of Dietitians of Ontario (CDO). Founding member of Pakistan Nutrition & Dietetic Society (PNDS). Continuous professional involvement as member of the executive committee and chair newsletter committee. More than 40 speaker assignments at national level. Invited internationally as guest speaker on “Optimizing Nutrition for the Cancer Patient” at the 5th Asian Congress of Dietetics, Bangkok, Thailand. Invited as a nutrition expert by WHO for development of National Nutritional Guidelines for HIV. 14 publications on various nutrition topics in national print media and journals including 3 in peer reviewed journals. Research projects: Nutrition management in moderate malnutrition in children, dietary habits of pediatric stone formers, SGA in hemodialysis. Language fluency in English, Urdu, Hindi & Punjabi.
