With every role I’ve held, I’ve looked for one thing: where technology can make a real, lasting impact on an organisation’s strategy. At UTS College, I spent two decades helping grow a two-person Helpdesk into a global IT operation across six countries. I progressed through multiple leadership roles and ultimately shaped the organisation’s enterprise architecture, cybersecurity posture, and infrastructure strategy during a period of global expansion. That same mindset followed me into the consulting world, where I now deliver architecture-led programs across government and industry. One recent highlight: leading my company’s ISO 27001 accreditation in just five months with a perfect audit result, placing us in the top 1% of certified organisations in Australia and unlocking new eligibility to bid for high-value government contracts. Earlier in my career, I designed a laser-based data link between buildings in Sydney’s CBD—before cloud and smartphones even existed. Whether it’s solving problems with emerging technology or designing future-ready systems, my approach has stayed the same: adopt early, apply thoughtfully, and make sure it works in the real world.
