About Denim P.

I am a planning and design strategist with more than 12 years of experience working closely with healthcare, higher education, and corporate organizations. I have been engaged as a Planning, Design, and Conformance (PDC) consultant, workplace strategist, planner, and project manager, to help clients navigate the early stages of complex projects, including visioning, business case, master planning, functional space programming, scope development, and concept/schematic design. Having been involved in 4 major hospital redevelopment projects delivered through the Design-Build-Finance-Maintain (DBFM) model (in aggregate, more than 4 million square feet and $7 billion), both as a consultant and with a regional hospital system, I have extensive, specialized healthcare experience. As such, I’m proficient in clinical operations and its impact on planning and design. My broad scope of involvement on healthcare projects has addressed topics such as accessibility, safety/security, IPAC, sustainability, flexibility, wayfinding, surge/outbreak/disaster management, materials management, site development, building systems, clinical functionality, facilities management, and furniture/equipment. I am also a WELL Accredited Professional and served as a Senior Project Manager on the South Niagara Hospital project, which is targeting to become one of the first WELL Certified acute care facilities in North America.
