About Denis Cepun

Leading an engineering organization as part of Microsoft Industry Solutions Engineering, that works directly with major global FSI customers looking to get the most out of Microsoft technologies and services. We work with customers who intend to use our technologies in new and innovative ways and, in collaboration with our product engineering colleagues using a code-with paradigm to enable the organization, or their partner, to build the production-ready solution. I’m a highly motivated, confident, decisive and experienced geek-at-heart with extensive technical, business growth and leadership skills. I have been a techie for over 28 years, 22 of those spent in the enterprise environments, with business relationships ranging from CxOs of the Forbes 100 largest companies to our newest startup partners. Technology has always been my greatest passion, and to this day I still love spending my free time hacking a crazy new solution, that makes someone’s life better. I try to give back to the community, and I do quite a bit of public speaking: inspiring, exciting and enabling others to achieve more. To that end, I have founded and run Microsoft Garage Finland, that enables Microsoft employees to experiment and innovate freely, with a fail-fast mentality. It is a place where every idea is welcome and we encourage everyone to explore, learn and grow.
