About Denis Ferrand

As the Executive General Manager of Rexecode, a renowned institute of economic research, I oversee the production and dissemination of high-quality economic studies and forecasts, mainly focusing on the competitiveness of French enterprises and the dynamics of the French and Asian economies. I have more than 20 years of experience in macroeconomic forecasting and analysis, and a PhD in Economics from Université Pierre Mendès-France. I also manage a staff of 15 professionals, including economists, statisticians, and librarians, and lead the business development and customer relations of the institute. In addition, I am a columnist for Les Echos, a leading French business newspaper, and a former president of Société d'Economie Politique, a prestigious association of economists. I have been invited by the US Department of State in the International Visitor Leadership Program, and I serve as a member of the French National Council for Industry and the Observation Council for Employment. My specialties are economic forecasting, analysis of French and Asian economies, and industrial economics.
