About Denis Lam

I am a qualified CPA and hold a MBA degree. Having trained up as a professional accountant and financial analyst with over 15 years of solid corporate finance and financial management experience, plus IPO / M&A, private equity funds and direct investment exposure in the Greater China region, I have built up a strong deals origination ( & execution) and funds raising (investors matching) capacity, and also obtained an extensive working relationship / business network with numerous institutional investors, private equity & property funds and high net worth entrepreneurs (including contact with senior executives in the investment / private banks, securities firms, HK mid-cap listed companies, PRC private enterprises, funds and individuals, which are originated from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore and Korea). Specifically, over the years, I have provided strategies & solutions to in-house executive management and external clients on corporate finance (IPO, M&A, private placement and convertible), direct investment & project finance, financial analysis, strategic corporate planning and business development. I have developed good understanding of banking & financial products via direct exposure on various business units within the financial services industry (including corporate & investment banking, wealth management and asset management). Besides, I have over 10 years of Greater China market experience plus APAC and North America working experience & business exposure, primarily focused on the financial services, real estate property, infrastructure and energy. Furthermore, I have also realized my leadership capability and proactive attitude through the start-up / turnaround team management experience gained in different operating platforms over the past years.
