About Denis Rendon

With over 14 years of experience in the aviation and space industry, I am a Quality Assurance Inspector at Firefly Aerospace, a leading provider of affordable and reliable access to space. I am responsible for inspecting the Alpha Launch vehicle and a part of the Payload launch encapsulation team, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety for each mission. I have a strong background in flight hardware inspection, procedure and document creation and review, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation, and tool control and calibration program management. I also have extensive experience as a mechanic, flight engineer, and avionics technician for UH60 and Mi17 aircraft, with over flight hours. I hold a Secret clearance. I am currently pursuing a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a Certified Quality Inspector certification to further enhance my skills and knowledge. I am passionate about learning new technologies and languages, such as JS, HTML, CSS, and Python, and I am motivated by the mission and vision of Firefly Aerospace to provide affordable and reliable access to space.
