About Denise Cortis

With expertise in human resources management, organization and team effectiveness, leadership and talent development, and career development, I am able to integrate human resources solutions with business effectiveness in organizations of various sizes, maturity, and industries. I have been recognized and awarded for visionary strategies and practical solutions in these disciplines. In multiple businesses, I led large scale business change efforts including launching and integrating HR systems, HR strategies for mergers and acquisitions, redesigning and implementing sustained changes in performance management, and designing sustainable work-life programs. I successfully designed and implemented leadership development cohorts, identified pipeline talent, delivered career services, and coached executives and professionals during career moves and on professional resiliency. Through various mediums, I leverage written and verbal communication skills in a variety of publications and forums. I focus on building and maintaining strong business partnerships at all levels enabling effective implementation of HR programs and processes. Most recently, I continue to coach and mentor leaders along with early to mid-career professionals and students.
