FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER I am a patient-focused Family Nurse Practitioner with more 20 years of acute care nursing experience providing comprehensive medical care and establishing partnerships in health with patients. My background includes progressive experience at Saint Clare’s Health System from Assistant Nurse Manager through Nurse Manager and Staff/Charge Nurse to my current role as Quality Management Specialist. I am particularly strong in engaging healthcare providers in developing and managing care processes that improve quality of care, patient outcomes, and patient experiences. Equally strong in collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care. For example, as Quality Management Specialist, I evaluated standards of care and ensured newly credentialed physicians complied with rules and regulations. Over more than eight years as a Charge Nurse, I co-chaired the Nurse Practice Counsel and utilized evidence-based practice to empower nurses to improve nursing practice and patient care. Additionally, I recently earned a Master of Science in Nursing (2015) with clinical experience including employee health, internal medicine, women’s health, and pediatrics.
