About Denise Eustaquio

I graduated from San Diego State University in May, 2020 with my Bachelor's of Science in Public Health. Having graduated during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been building my experience and knowledge through working as a COVID-19 case investigator, leading my COVID-19 Colleges and Universities team through data management and outbreaks, up until my current position with the County of San Diego's Tuberculosis Control (TBCRH) team. With the TB Control team, I conduct case investigations, coordinate with points of contacts for various schools, workplaces, and community partners regarding TB testing if necessary, group site visits, and tuberculosis education within the local San Diego community. From these experiences, I've learned very rewarding skills and knowledge that I will apply to my future career as a public health advocate and further my work in strategic initiatives, community partnerships, data analysis, and Infectious Diseases/Epidemiology.
