About Denise Foran

With over 20 years of operational management expirence,followed by four years of direct experience as a HR Project Officer at Aurora, I have developed a strong expertise in HR management for managers and teams supporting people with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs. My role involves coordinating the recruitment, selection and induction of new employees, ensuring Garda Vetting processes, providing support and guidance on HR policies and queries, and developing and delivering information on key issues with business partnering involving collaborating closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals, providing proactive support, offering valuable insights, and fostering a culture of trust and mutual respect. I also have skills and experience in data analysis, policy development, coaching and mentoring, and team development, which enable me to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HR initiatives within the organisation and empower the senior management team to make informed strategic decisions. I am passionate about contributing to the mission of Aurora, which is to enrich the lives and communities of people with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs.
