About Denise Robinson

Biography For the past 32 years Denise Robinson has helped over of her customer’s dreams of homeownership come true. Denise is currently a Community Development Officer at CNH Housing Partners where she is responsible for originating purchase and refinance loans, promoting affordable lending programs and educating the community regarding mortgage lending. For the previous 20 years Denise held these same responsibilities at Dollar Bank. Prior to Dollar Bank, Denise had CRA mortgage responsibilities at FirstMerit Bank where she authored and helped implement major product changes and enhancements to an in-house affordable housing program. Denise also had CRA Mortgage Representative responsibilities at Banc One Mortgage Corp. and First Nationwide Bank. Denise’s interest in promoting affordable lending stemmed from her work as a Sales Director for Burks Development Corporation. In 1990 Denise handled the sale and transfer of Glenville Commons and Sebe Village, the first newly constructed real estate developments in Cleveland’s inner city. In this position, Denise generated more than $2.5 million in Real Estate sales activity. Community involvement is no stranger to Denise. She served as Director of Finance and Administration and Vice President of United Black Fund of Greater Cleveland from 1985 to 1989. At UBF Denise managed the annual budget and supervised the administrative staff. Denise honed her business, administrative and management skills at Xerox Corporation in the early 80’s where she served as Corporate Credit Procedures Author in Rochester NY, Regional Customer Service Manager in Washington D.C and Credit, Customer Service and Internal Control Manager in Cleveland Ohio. Denise is a board member of Fairfax Renaissance Development Corporation; a past board member of the Black Professionals Associations Charitable Foundation, and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Denise has a BS in Journalism/Advertising from Kent State University.
