I’m already a leader in practice, the go-to person in meetings, the one people come to for clarity, advice, or just to make sense of the chaos. I’m ready to make it official and step into a role where leadership is part of the job description but I’m also open to any position that gives me the chance to grow and keep moving forward. I’m strategic, analytical, and responsible. How do I know? I took a test. Yup, really. I took a test, and it confirmed what I already suspected: • I’m logical and can spot potential issues before they show up (strategic). • I actually enjoy data, numbers, and details (analytical). • People count on me to follow through (responsible). Throughout my career as a web designer/developer, software tester, business analyst, and project coordinator, I’ve learned a few things about myself: 1. Planning is my superpower. I’m a natural at sharing information (sometimes more than people ask for). I’m trusted (which is nice, because I’m also curious). Collaboration is where I thrive. Did I mention I’m curious? About almost everything. Sometimes I think I’d like to be a comedian or podcaster, but I don’t exactly have the résumé for that. When I’m not working, I’m usually traveling with my husband (and could always use more vacation days), heading up to our cottage in the summer, or catching up on the six months of chores we ignored during cottage season in the winter. I also enjoy experimenting with AI tools and weaving them into my day. For me, they’re like a virtual craft buddy, helping me save time, boosting creativity and never complaining about the mess. Whether I’m upcycling shrunken jeans into handbags, making greeting cards, or designing jewelry, AI gives me a little extra to bring projects to life. Basically, if it involves mixing colors, textures, or ideas (digital or physical), I’m in.
