About Denlie Hoo

Software engineer specialized in frontend web development with expertise in React. My proficiency extends to full-stack web3 development, with a focus on MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js, alongside blockchain development utilizing Solidity. Currently broadening my horizons, I am learning about mobile development using React Native, adding versatility to my skill set. My professional journey has primarily revolved around the Fintech, Cryptocurrency, and Web3 industry, where I've contributed to building projects including a cryptocurrency exchange, a decentralized wallet platform, and a payments gateway platform. Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from Nanyang Business School, I possess a comprehensive understanding of the finance industry's requirements. My transition to programming was catalyzed during internships, where I automated tasks using Microsoft Excel VBA and Google Script Apps (JavaScript). Consequently, I decided to switch from Banking and Finance and honed my development skills. In addition to my professional experiences, I enjoy building personal projects. Notable creations include RecurCrypt, an application empowering businesses to accept recurring cryptocurrency payments, and Multiswap, a web3 application facilitating seamless exchange of multiple cryptocurrencies in a single transaction. I am an innovative problem-solver with a strong commitment to lifelong learning.
