About Dennis Berry

I am currently part of a team of professionals that deliver liquor, cannabis and lottery services across the Yukon. My professional experience has been focused on working with communities and governments, primarily in the North, in a variety of leadership roles in increasingly complex organizations. For most of my career I have specialized in government operations at the Chief Fire Officer and Assistant Deputy Minister level, with a focus on first response programs, primarily structural fire, emergency medical services and wild-land fire. My passion is in building diverse, resilient teams that have clear big-picture vision and above all else understand the importance of employee motivation to achieving successful outcomes. I see relationships as the corner stone of the work that I do. Government operations are, at the heart, service industries with a focus on people. I am proud to be part of the Yukon Government and to be in a position where I can apply my management experience to this challenging role.
