About Dennis Cliffman

I am local to West Michigan, born and raised in the area. Computers and electronics are lifelong passions of mine - it all started with building Lego robots, then to programming games on my TI-84 calculator in school, and eventually a career working with and designing cyber infrastructure. As a cybersecurity focused administrator, I leverage my years of technical support experience in systems administration, desktop support, help desk, and consumer product support to bring a solid foundation and familiarity of a variety of environments. I’m well versed in firewall configuration and management, primarily for WatchGuard, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, Unifi, and PFSense firewalls. I stand up and manage tenants for BreachSecureNow, a cybersecurity awareness training and dark web monitoring platform, for multiple clients across West Michigan. My diverse background led me to a prowess for Windows Server management - including Active Directory (on-premises and EntraID/Azure AD), Group Policy deployment, DNS, DHCP, DFS, NPS, and many more technologies encompassed in Windows Server. My deep-seated and multifaceted experience in technical and mechanical troubleshooting prove prowess in repairing and restoring systems to full functionality, while foundational and substantial customer service experience has provided exquisite soft skills and an ability to stay cool under pressure. I’m nothing if not passionate about working with both computers and with people; the goal of every interaction is to better the relationship between the two.
