About Dennis Noh

It's a great pleasure to introduce myself to you. My name is Noh Jae Hyun. I graduated from Kyungpook National University as a graduate student in 2002. My major was Power electronics. I belonged to the laboratory of SMPS(Switch Mode Power Supply). I analyzed and designed Power converters like Buck (Voltage mode, current mode control), Boost, Fly-back, Forward, and Half-Bridge converters during my master’s degree. Then I studied “A contactless battery charger for portable telecommunication/computing” in a Project with Samsung Electronics Inc, Wireless Division. This charger was designed to utilize the inductive coupling between neighboring PCB windings by means of a contactless energy transfer. As a result of the studies, I presented two domestic papers and five International papers and I was awarded the Paper prize by KIEE (Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers) for them on Oct. After that, I worked at LG Electronics Inc. as an H/W R&D engineer from Feb. 2002 to March 2010. Since Feb. 2002, I've been working in TI Korea. I believe that I specialize in PMIC(LCD and Mobile), Battery Charger, LED driver, DC/DCs, AC/DCs and GaN. Thank you.
