I'm a self-taught creative front-end and back-end engineer currently exploring software architecture from the lens of JavaScript and other front end technologies. Even so, I'm an entrepreneur at heart. At 15, I started a candy company with 18 employees, then ran a successful eBay business until I moved on to start a marketing company at 21 that created created campaigns and mini-sites for McDonalds & the Detroit Lions (see experience). Even with my corporate positions I've continued to own and operate digital businesses to this day. As far as my skillset, I have a good eye for design and I am more than proficient at creating JavaScript modules and extending/using frameworks like Angular, ReactJs, and Backbone. In many positions, I've used backend languages (like Java and Scala [learned on the job]) or used PHP and was able to push code to production sites that serve millions of users a day (sites like dominos.com, linkedin.com, ford.com, etc).
