Background
About Dennis Roos
I've been working for VGR for over 20 Years with Cloud infrastructure as my specialty. Before that I was a product developer using different CAD systems as my daily tools. Ended up in IT through pure interest.I'm today Product owner for VGR's virtual environments (VMware articles mostly). I enjoy areas as strategy, design, implementation, development, daily management but also in depth troubleshooting. Daily works with:Virtualization (VMware ESXi, vCenter, VMware Cloud Foundation)Automation and scripting (Powershell, vRealize Automation)Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VMware Horizon)Monitoring systems (vRealize Operations, Network Insight)Logging systems (vRealize LogInsight)Networking and security (NSX-t)Storage (vSAN, Hitachi, IBM)Windows Server Operations Linux Server Operations Database Operations Tanzu and KubernetesTo compensate for my sort of 'nerdy'(I really do enjoy my work) interest of all IT related technologies in depth, my spare time is mostly shared with the family, and enjoyed outdoors with a variety of interests as running, orienteering, hiking, mc-biking and so on.
