About Dennis Root

I have a very complete HR background consisting of fourteen (14) strong years in Human Resources Management with progressively increasing responsibility. I have had the opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of HR generalist responsibilities during my five unique HR assignments. I have had extensive experience in strategic planning, management development, OFCCP auditing, staffing (hourly, exempt and non-exempt), safety/OSHA, EEO, Affirmative Action Plans, FMLA (disability management), ADA, performance appraisals, succession planning, Six-Sigma, and much more. Specialties: In addition to the Human Resources experience, I have fourteen (14) years of a very diverse background in training and development, including international training in Singapore, Germany, and Japan. My MA in Human Resource Development rounds out a more complete understanding of the need for continuous workforce planning and employee improvement. I find the combination of HR and training enhances my understanding of optimizing human capital for the benefit of the employee and the business.
