I am a Senior Treasury and Cash Management professional with over 25 years of national and global experience in treasury, cash management, risk management (fx and interest) & project management. Worked at reputed banks and multinationals, operating in both developed and emerging markets. High-level expertise with a pragmatic, multi-disciplinary approach to analyzing and managing challenges in the Treasury & Cash Management area. Able to combine a strategic helicopter view with a pragmatic hands-on approach and well suited to operating across cultures and regions. To summarize: I am a result driven entrepreneurial Banking and Treasury professional. A problem solving, hands-on-solution-focused social communicative troubleshooter with a pro-active approach in identifying and analyzing inefficiencies as well as taking responsibility to improve processes and operations in the area of Treasury & Cash Management. Next to that, I am co-founder of Stichting Credit4Cuba. This non-profit foundation, established in 2015, aims to make a difference for small Cuban entrepreneurs – the so called cuentapropistas – and supports small and growing enterprise development in Cuba. We intend to empower the self-employed, creating positive social impact for the entrepreneur and the Cuban society, always in close cooperation with local organizations and the (future) cuentapropistas. As of December 2018 I had the honor to join the Platform Interim Treasury (“PIT), a network group within the Dutch Association of Corporate Treasurers (“DACT”), as board member. The PIT is a versatile and high-quality platform of treasury-related informative activities and network meetings that meet the needs of the (interim) treasury professional.
